Playing with a longer lens.






Typically as you go to a longer focal length lens, in this case 105mm, you are looking at subjects at longer than normal distances from the camera. By using either a close up ring or a Micro version of the Longer lens some interesting close ups can be captured.A tripod was used on the cone flower shots, hand held on the yellow flowers.

Wow, the bug shots are great! Dave & I walked into the woods today to find the hidden cemetery for the town photos, somebody had knocked over a lot of the stones, such a shame, so the shots didn't come out as well as I hoped. I'm going to process them later and see what I can do with them.
