Serious Digital Photography is a brand new challenge for me. So a lot of what is to follow will be awful!! Followed at some point in the future by just "pretty bad" etc etc.
From my own experience, photographing butterflies is really hard with a digital, unless your camera is one of the fancy ones with minimal lag time. So I think your photo is really good! One of my favorite things to do is wander around with my camera in the garden...it's fun isn't it? Nice shot.
